If, after visiting our "Availability" tab, you see an open opportunity on the calendar, you can navigate to the "Contact Us" tab on our website. Write a brief message including your requested date of arrival, the date of your departure, and the number of people in your party.  We will review this information and then provide you with a total cost for your stay.  If you approve the proposal we will send you a formal confirmation and lock in your reservation.  A $300 deposit is required on all reservations, payable by check, and the balance is due 30 days before your arrival date.  A full refund is provided if you cancel within 30 days of your arrival, or if we can rent out the cottage to another party for those booked nights.

  • Maine Lodging Tax is 9% charged on the cottage rental and cleaning fee.
  • Sales Tax does not apply to rental of the pontoon boat which is registered in New Hampshire.
  • A $75 Cleaning Fee is charged for each booking. 
  • You are expected to bring your own linens and towels.  If you wish to have linens and towels provided there is a $15 per person charge.
  • Check-in time is 4:00 PM.  Check-out time is 11:00 AM.  You will be notified if an early Check-in our late Check-out is possible.
  • The maximum overnight capacity of Camp George 2 is 6 people.
  • No pets are permitted during your stay.  We respect the well being of our returning guests, many of whom have allergies.
  • Camp George 2 is a non-smoking rental.

Our "Whirlwind" sailboat is designed for two people with a weight capacity of 310 pounds.    Also known as a "Snark", it is considered by many to be "the easiest boat to sail".  With a draft of only 12 inches and a weight of only 50 pounds it fits in nicely with our other water toys.
